What is Family Practice?

Comprehensive care will be provided to all members of families registered in this category. This includes a yearly annual physical, review of health, screening through lab tests, Pap test, mammograms, bone mineral density testing and focused exams throughout the year for concerns about your health.

We prefer that you call in for a scheduled appointment time to prevent delays in being seen. You will of course be seen if you come through the Walk-In Clinic as well, but there may be a delay as we see patients already scheduled with an appointment.

Annual physicals are booked on THURSDAYS. You are entitled to one complete physical examination a year and focused physical examinations during regular appointments any day the clinic is open. You must call ahead so that we can give you an appointment of your choice.

Remember that you will need to fast for 12 hours (not eat or drink anything but water for pills) before your annual physical appointment in order to do the blood testing on the same day.

NO test results are given by telephone ! Please schedule an appointment for test results review after doing the test. e.g. Bloodwork, Mammo, bone density
