Latest research has found that more than 80% of north americans have insufficient Vitamin D.
Vitamin D helps your body absorb calcium. If you do not have enough you are at risk for osteoporosis and weak bones.
Low levels can also make you feel tired - fatigue.
We are now testing for levels through a blood test when you have your anual physical examination. The recommended dose for insufficiency is:
Vitamin D3 (as cholecalciferol) 5,000 IU daily

here Dr. Sherman joined the Border City Family Health Group in April 2008.
It is a team of Doctors and nurses who will help each other at times of illness, holidays and after clinic hours. Each Doctor takes a turn.
What does this mean to Dr. Sherman's patients?
The relationship you have with Dr. Sherman will not change.
You will still call in for your appointment to be made for a time convenient to you. Or you will "drop in" and wait until there is an opportunity to fit you in.
New for you:
