The Women's Health Centre is a specially designed program for women ages 16 and over that provides services over and above the basic OHIP structure. The focus is on Health Promotion specific to an individual. An annual physical helps us identify issues specific to a woman's stage in life that can be discussed "one on one" where we use a unique holistic approach to care that addresses the physical, emotional, mental, social and sexual aspects of health and illness.

 

We work as a team:

 

Melanie is the receptionist who books your appointments and can provide you with information about all our programs. She also helps get you ready for your visit with the Doctor.

 

Dr. Sherman is the physician. She is the founder of the Women's Health Centre and is celebrating 25 years of medical practice.

 

Dennis is the lab technician and will do blood/urine tests, injections, ECG and breathing tests.

 

As a client of the Women's Health Centre of Windsor you will be provided with comprehensive care.

What days can I book an appointment?

 

The clinic is open for general appointments Monday - Saturday Yearly physicals can be booked on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

 

Remember you will need to fast (no food or drink for 12 hours prior to appointment, except for enough water to take your medication) so make your appointment early in the day.

In the Women's Health Centre, some of the services we provide to you are not covered under the OHIP program. Annual Membership

 

The fee for managing these services is $150.00 each year.

It is payable by CASH ONLY - non-refundable, to be paid on the first visit.
