The Cutera Titan gives you an all-natural option to enhance skin tone. Titan uses light energy to heat the dermis deep beneath your skin's surface. Without surgery, recovery time, or injections, Titan is an ideal solution for your face, abdomen, arms and more. The procedure is mildly uncomfortable, and generally takes approximately 30-45 minutes per treatment depending on the area being treated. Generally 3 or more treatments are required done 4-6 weeks apart.

What is Titan?

Titan is the ultimate non-surgical facelift without surgery, recovery time or injections.

 

How does the Cutera Titan work?

Our collagen fibers loosen & stretch, as we get older, giving us loose skin. Titan emits infrared light penetrating into the deep dermis of the skin; this heat shrinks collagen fibers, thus tightening the skin, just like a woolen jumper shrinks from the heat of a tumble dryer. Titan also stimulates collagen growth deep beneath the skin's surface, reducing lines, & giving a firmer more youthful appearance.

 

Who can be treated?

Men and women who would like firmer and tighter skin.

 

What areas respond best to treatment? Titan can tighten the skin on the face and neck. Popular areas include sides of the face & jaw line. For those with overhanging tired looking eyes, it is superb for achieving a brow lift, which gives eyes a fresh more open look.

 

How many treatments are needed? The greater the laxity in the skin, the more treatments required. Typically clients need about 3 treatments per area.

 

What intervals must I leave between treatments?

Treatments are usually 4 to 6 weeks apart.

 

When will I see results?

Results are gradual over a three to six month period as new collagen is formed and the skin tightens.

 

How long do results last?

What skincare is recommended to prolong & enhance results?

Pure Vitamin C in the form of L ascorbic acid is necessary for the collagen production. Our skin does not have the ability to store Vitamin C, so topically applied Vitamin C helps with the collagen production, enhancing the results with Titan. Powerful hydrating serums, containing Hyaluronic acid for volume and skin health are also recommended. How successful is the treatment?

Three out of four patients will respond well to the treatment. People that smoke and expose themselves to excessive UV radiation tend to respond poorly to the treatment. Please consult your laser technician to determine if you're a good candidate for the Titan skin tightening procedure.
