Smooth besalt stones are heated to a specific temperature, and then applied to the body with a specificl massage technique. While enjoying the treatment the body is wrapped in a heated blanket, allowing every part of the body to relieve all tensions and melt away.
Indie Head Massage
Indie Head Massage is a form of relaxation massage that focuses on the muscles of the neck, shoulders, scalp and face. It uses a variety of techniques to help relieve stress, muscle tension, headaches, insomnia and jaw dysfunction. It is also known for promoting hair growth and ridding the body of toxins while creating a sense of well being. In addition, Indie Head Massage may also help sinus problems and mental tiredness. The treatment covers the whole scalp (using hot oil).
Thai Hot Stem Massage
Thai Hot Stem Massage for the body is a full body (excluding the face), relaxing and therapeutic massage treatment that promotes detoxification, blood, lymph, and energy flows for the body as well as helps decrease inflammation and pain. Techniques include acupressure, lomi lomi techniques, Thai stretches and massage from heated/steamed Thai Hot Stems that are filled with a blend of herbs.
Thai Stem Facial Massage
Thai Stem Facial Massage is a relaxing and therapeutic massage treatment that includes the face and head only.
It helps promote detoxification, stimulate blood, lymph, and energy flows through the head and face, as well as relieve stress and pain. 3 different types of thai stems can be used depending on the clients preference.
Coconut stems (softest) – Ideally suited for those with dry skin as it provides a deeply hydrating treatment.
Sesame stems (moderate firmness) – Ideal for clients who suffer from tension headaches, TMJ issues, or other muscular complaints but are sensitive to pressure. These also promote skin repair and gentle exfoliation.
Clay stems (firmest) – Best suited for those who like deeper pressure and are a great option for those with oily or acne prone skin since they remove excess oil without over-drying the skin.
Avoid these treatments if you are: pregnant, planning to get pregnant, breast feeding, allergic to the ingredients in stems, sensitive to heat or react poorly with heat (ie: rosacea), or are taking medications that cause an unwanted reaction when in contact with heat.
